C/ Antonio Navajas Ruiz – Bajondillo, Torremolinos, Málaga
Casa de Los Navajas

Located in Torremolinos, very close to Playa del Bajondillo, the Navajas House emerged, like many others of the time (and parallel to the creation of the first hotel establishments in the municipality), as the second residence of one of the wealthy families of the time in the locality.

Built in 1925 by the Luque-Navajas family, it is a neo-Mudejar style palace with Mozarabic touches.

Its origin, like the family fortune, is linked to the sugar cane business, a very fruitful one at the mouth of the Guadalhorce River.

Today, it is the headquarters where weddings and other civil ceremonies are held, also hosting various cultural activities such as exhibitions, concerts and theatre performances among others, which is why it has become a must-see historical building in Torremolinos.

It can easily be visited, since it is open every weekend, with free admission.
