Writers' Day Conference: "Emilia Pardo Bazán"

On the occasion of the celebration of The Writers' Day, next Tuesday, October 19, a conference will take place in the Auditorium of the Pablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Center, a conference given by María Antonia García de León, Sociologist and Emeritus Professor of the University Complutense de Madrid, in which she will talk about the life and work of the writer Emilia Pardo Bazán, taking advantage of the fact that this year the centenary of the death of this novelist and journalist is celebrated, the first female chronicler and pioneer in the fight in defense of women's rights.

The conference will begin at 7:00 p.m. and admission will be free.
