Next Friday, November 12, the concert of the violinist Klara Gomboc will take place at the Pablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Center.
Klara Gomboc (Ljubljana, Slovenia, 1986) is professional violinist, arranger, composer and producer. She finished her violin career at Akademija Za Glasbo, Ljubljana's Higher Conservatory of Music. During her childhood and youth she has participated in several national and international classical music competitions, where she has obtained several awards. She has performed as a soloist, in chamber groups and orchestras, and in more intimate settings.
In addition to performing classical music, she has an extensive repertoire composed of film soundtracks and other musical styles such as popular music, tango, jazz, Balkan music, bossa nova, American folk music, etc.
Her most recent show, "The history of music told by a violin", is a journey through classical music through its times in chronological order, with interesting video-projections about the composers and the most famous works of she.
Klara Gomboc is characterized in her concerts for performing versions of classical pieces that are very recognizable for the general public, so her shows are suitable for both an audience versed in classical music and for a newer audience.
In this concert we can enjoy the interpretations of the works of authors such as
Pachelbel, Bach, Mozart or Beethoven, Massenet, Debussy... through a journey from baroque music to that of the 20th century.
