Sung Poems

Machado, Lorca, Alberti, Miguel Hernández, Neruda, Guillén, Benedetti, García Calvo… great poets who have written great poems. Serrat, Alberto Cortez, Rosa León, Ana Belén, Amancio Prada, Quilapayún, Mercedes Sosa, Nacha Guevara, Leonard Cohen… Great musicians and singers who have dared to take these poems and turn them into great songs. So much so, that some of these poems are better known for their sung version than for their original version.

Professional artists from the Asociación Cultural Espacio Creativo "El Calvario" will sing us some of these songs that were originally poems, bringing to Torremolinos this wonderful fusion of great poets and great musicians.

Julio Ramos, Sandra Zucas, Gaby Loria, Maribel Moreno and Dos Lunas Duo will sing us such popular poems as "Cantares", "Te quiero", "Wounded by Love", "Paloma Desesperada", "Why Sing", "Nanas de la Cebolla ”and“ La Muralla ”, among others.
