The V Ruta de la Tapa de la Abuela will have the participation of 55 establishments. The Councilor for Culture, David Tejeiro, and the president of the Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs of Torremolinos (ACET), Juan Vallejo, have presented this morning this edition, which as the main novelty is held for four days in a row, from November 3 to 6.
This edition organized by ACET with the collaboration of the Culture area will be held from November 3 to 6.
Tejeiro has pointed out that this new edition is once again "highly anticipated" by hoteliers and restaurateurs who dare to participate to present their best tapas, mixing traditional cuisine with innovative proposals "and also by the public not only to taste them, but because it is a a very good opportunity to see places that have not been before”.
In addition, its celebration in November helps to combat the seasonality that tends to harm coastal tourist municipalities such as Torremolinos. In this sense, the councilor has highlighted that in recent editions there has been "an increase in the number of people who come from neighboring municipalities" and also encouraged residents of the municipality to participate in this route and above all "to know new places”.
With a drink and tapa for 2.5 euros or a traditional dessert for 3.5 euros, the assistants will be able to stamp in the "tapasporte" that they acquire in any establishment their passage through the route to score the "best tapa", the "best presentation ”and“ best service ”.
Upon obtaining six stamps, they will be able to deposit them in any of the boxes that will be in the bars and will participate in the prize draw that will take place on November 11. The president of the ACET has announced that this year as the main prize there will be a trip to Paris for two people, to which are added more than 50 prizes contributed by the participating restaurants and bars and a hundred tickets for the Theater Cycle that it organizes Torremolinos Town Hall in the Municipal Auditorium.
The participating establishments will be distributed throughout the town.

At Calvario there will be: Casa Yeyo and Qué Güeno, while in La Carihuela and El Pinillo, 100 Montados, 274 & CO, Bar América, Casa Juan Los Mellizos, Hotel Restaurante Pedro, La Reserva de Antonio, MG Jamón, Secretos Ibónicos La Carihuela, Rufino Andalusian tavern, The Garden by Noah's and Sabores Gatrobar.
